In the beginning we were just dust,
Then God took his hands and created us.
In later years, and laden in sin,
It turned to tears as we turned on him.
Thorns going down into His head,
While hanging there He bled.
Blood drips down his face,
For one way our sin could erase.
His head went down and bled,
"It was finished" was the words he said.
Many people mourned and cried.
For today on the cross He died.
They remember back for so long,
Knowing He never did any wrong.
Remembering the day He broke the bread.
To a multitude He then soon fed.
But then He rose again on the third day,
Now we have Jesus to watch and pray.
To accept the bread of life,
Instead of Hell and eternal strife.
That day He broke more bread then ever before.
For all man kind He opened the door.
The price for all the lost,
He paid the final Cost on the Cross.
In the beginning we were just dust,
Then God gave his Son to die for us.

I thought this was great... I liked the rhyme scheme and how this was written in a non-judgmental way. Very beautiful.
