Jingle...
Jingle...
Do you hear the bells?
Jingle, jingle, jingle
All day long
All week long
All month long
Sit and ring
As you sing
Songs and songs
They listen
To themselves
And others
They have nothing else
To do, you see
They cannot watch
They only speak
The sound is mute
All they hear...
...is vibrations
They go through a lot
Exposed to the weather
Meeting birds, and bats, and others
Only there
For one purpose
To sit and ring all day
You see,
The bells don't ring
For themselves
They ring for us
For they can't move themselves
Feel pity
For the bells,
The ringing, jingling bells
For what they go through
Is impossible to stand
For us.
