Moping around,
bringing everyone down,
loneliness and negativity
dripping from your pores,
these are the "talents"
you show to us.
Oh no,
you are never good enough,
oh no,
you are such a bore,
oh no,
the world is against you.
Whine, whine, whine,
cry, cry, cry,
these are your nights,
and these are your days,
full of complaints
that nobody cares.
Oh no,
your friend is better,
oh no,
you will never make it,
oh no,
you have such troubles.
Denial becomes your middle name
to all those around you,
complaints that we are not there,
complaints that we are not enough,
denial snaps at us
whenever we question your thoughts.
Oh no,
could this be about you,
oh no,
is your life all a waste,
oh no,
why am I cold?
Bluntness may save me...
you are too confusing,
you show no appreciation,
you become troubled with nonsense,
you do not mix well with me,
we do not mix well together...

I thought this was good although to be honest with u Amanda I found that the poetic paragraph and then the un-poetic paragraph (Oh no... etc) took away from the poem other than that I thought it was a great poem.

I think I will comment on the charecter of this poem instead, and a little differently than you might think.
"If I asked you for some bread
would you give to me a stone."
If I asked you for some water
would you acid at me throw.
if a person lacked in knowledge
if they lacked maturity
would you laugh and call them stupid
or would you stop and gently teach? |
