Amaranthine

Contributed by Vitreous_Soul on Tuesday, 23rd December 2003 @ 06:32:17 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Of alpha and omega
Of beginning and doom
The wilted flower once
Bore a fadeless bloom

No force can be everlasting
The fragility of time will not allow
No cycle can remain unbroken
Continuity must be disendowed

Nothing lasts forever
How dissolves the strongest metal
For every rebirth of the flower
The bloom yields one less petal

As many eons pass
Sheets of ice will cover this plane
When it melts away and all is gone
Reborn is the lotus with the first rain

Life is a gradual spiral
Slowly decreasing in length
What's delicate is enduring
Nothing's more fleeting than strength

Throughout alpha and omega
'Midst faint and crumbling power
Before beginning and after doom
There stands only the flower

And your lone flower stands and smiles at you for the life you gave it with your view...and this lovely poetry true.
Spellbinding VS...I was memerized by this write....the Cycle of Life...is unending...and so is Love.

...-You- quit? I throw down my paper and various writing utensils and slam the door on my way out, then. This is enough to make Poe himself rise out of his grave and worship this, because I'm afraid this write might have outdone even some of his.

And that says an awful lot.

Keep writing or -die-,
-Eve.
