Gone but Never Forgotten

The days and the nights, the jobs and the fights, the fast times and hard, the good times and sad. The teamwork and mateship, like brothers we stood. Against all foes we stood all we could. Proud to say, we won all we should. Working with you felt like brotherhood. Its now the first Christmas that the team of four, now one. Only memories and tokens, Steve, Danny and Damien with a son. Deb your wife, she took her life, unable to handle it without you. My friend she loved you true. Maddy your boy, he is doing quite well, as i know you both look down, watch him ring his bell. Yet he doesnt understand, but in time he will. I will keep him safe, far from the thrill. The life we led, only shared by the few. I promise to tell him, of the smiles you drew. All the people we protected and the ***** we went through. When he is old enough to stand from the crowd. I will fill him in and for you he will be proud. If the rest of the team were here now. They would care for him and you know how. But they sit there with you and Deb by your side. Look upon him and be filled with pride. He may be miles and a day away, i will always know how he is doing let me say. Just like my kids, and my god daughter too, he is one of my family, i will see him through.

For Damien and Deb, Steve and Danny...
Where ever you are my team of three, please be at peace where ever it is you may be.

The Promise Still Stands..........
