The flowers were handled with immense care and grace;
As the whole crowd applauded, joy haloed her face.
She had been so nervous, this lady of song.
At that very moment she knew she belonged
To that stage she had waited so long to appear,
With the music she slaved over for many a year.
Her dream became reality and days forever brighter,
For now her name was up in lights as a singer and Songwriter.

Very nice. It is nice to see someone care so much about a parent. Again, very nice. |
