When life makes you smile
but brings me to silent tears,
what do you see?
Leaving me to myself
yet i always was with you.
Do these tears cut you deep
when they fall not from your eyes?
You walk away
like ghosts in memories.
Nothing is here with me
because tomorrow stole
what you never loved.
