A New Heart

Like shutters that are flung open on the first day of spring
My heart has been opened
Allowing all that was repressed to let go
Freeing the darkness that could not escape what is bright
It becomes weak
Kneeling before the light and repents it's sin
Love is revealed where it always has been hidden - witin my soul
