A Blood Red Statement

I watch my pain run,
From my pierced flesh,
A blood red statement of my grief,
Sit and watch it drip,
Onto my bed sheets,
And soak in, Dry.
A feeling of elation,
For a brief second of my life,
As I watch the glisten of my blood fade,
Does this end my pain?
Has my grief disappeared?
No.
It is right there,
I could point it out to you,
But would you look?
Would you will it away?
Or just hand me a new blade?
Back to today,
Sat where I was, Always,
My blood red statement dripping,
Tears flowing from my misty eyes,
Is this finally my release?
Willing for this to be this last time,
That I watch my blood stain my sheets,
Longing for my eyes,
To be forever closed,
This is my eternal dream,
Goodbye.
