how hard do i have to try until life takes a turn?
will good luck ever come or will i always crash and burn?
all my life i've tried to do whatever's right and fair
in hope i'd end up happy but life never took me there
but i guess i shouldn't be surprise
remembering my past
so here applies the term
'good guys always finish last'
so many times i've faltered, made too many mistakes
i tried to right the wrong but it was too little too late
no one really cares for me all they seem to do is take
no one sees the strain im' in or when i'm about to break
but i guess i shouldn't be surprised

in my world of desperation i look to the sky
and i see you my angel flying away saying goodbye
and so i keep falling into this endless black hole
i have nothing to hold on to because you've let me go
