Flowing freely into the distance
The last fleeting gilmpse of sunlight
Giving the earthen goddesses their chance
To bask in the twilight
Trampleing, the cheerful dandelions, and sunflowers
Prepareed to celebrate the omnipresense of the moon
Hiding within the cover of trees that tower
Dancing the night away, in the earth's darkest hues
Casting spells, granting wishes, for the new day coming
Singing forbidden melodies, and haunting chants
As the moonlit hours go waning
Untieing all the strings that bind them, and letting loose in dance
As the pale of glow of the stars shines in innocently from above
The wind flows in from the south
And the fire's glow, it teases with each it's shoves
Blowing ash far and wide, as if spewed from the dragon's mouth
The nightly ritual performed for the omnipresent moon
The emblems of the goddesses, carved into the trees
To mark the never ending power of their nightly commune
As the ashes fall upon the earth, blown within the southren breeze
The howling of it's forboding tune
Telling of their deeds
Pierceing the light of the neon moon
Calling the faithful to their knees
Softly spoken magic spells telling of wants and needs
Drawing of the powers of the spells that were woven
Along with the watering of their heart's seeds
And giving thanks to the provider's, the goddess coven
With their tasks completed, the gong is struck
And the flames are put to rest
The goddesses make there escape, from the fading dusk
To await their next quest
