In Your Lashes

Contributed by Exodus-On-Life on Saturday, 20th December 2003 @ 03:11:20 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Snowflakes fall to lashes
The cycle seems to repeat

Take me away from anything
Help me find my feet

The echoes of remembrance
Meet the sorrow of your face

I can't remember your name tonight
And I'd kill to never come back to this place

The flakes that fell to lashes
And the ways I never could

I felt the same for so long
And I knew I never would

Feeling sorry for another day
As you wipe away your lashes

These snowflakes fall forever
They burn into memory and fade away to ashes...

Hmmm.. interesting I'm trying to find the reasoning in the snowflakes falling. It's serving as a constant reminder....I think.....
It's very very good I gotta hunch it's something to do with falling in love and not wanting to have those feelings anymore. So in your lashes represents tear drops? I'm going deep excellent poetry that's what it's all about.
