Tears Uncried

Contributed by afraid_of_fear on Friday, 19th December 2003 @ 03:28:37 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I keep falling, I keep feeling too unsteady
Uncertain, numb, still not done with these tears
I can't face the world - I'm not yet ready
And I sit here missing you already

Today she cried for so many lives
She can't let go of everyone, everything
Tonight she sits here as me and strives
To find enough skin for all those damned knives

I don't want to lose you
Mandy, my friend, you're everything they're not
I wish, I hope we can make it through
I want to believe what they've said is true

Maybe this will one day be an old scar
Maybe this nightmare will end some day
Maybe we'll see all this from afar
Maybe one day we'll catch that star

But don't disappear like all the rest
I can't leave you behind, like them
Don't hide away in your black little nest
Cos as friends go, you're one of the best

x_x_x love you loads hun x_x_x

this was very sad, but I sensed a tone in this that u realize that life was not lost that their was a point in continuing on. I liked the 3rd stanza because this time in yer life will come to end your strong and u will see the end of it.

Touching the very deepest part of me as I read this. Beautiful sad words ... but I also see that you do have hope. Things will be okay.. just hang on. June
