Dead is my Love

Contributed by MissTea on Friday, 19th December 2003 @ 07:34:41 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

When I close my eyes I still see your face, Cold and blue. Resting upon a sheet which once boared a thousand dying heads, it now held yours in frailty and in death.

Never again will I see you smile, hear you laugh, and touch your warm soft skin. Never did I say those words that lay so deep in my heart, You hurt me too deep to allow them to flow freely.

As I see your face before my dreams, I see the endless years we lost in Hate. All the laughs and tears that will never be found.

I wish to see your smiling face again, to say I'm sorry and that I always have and always will LOVE YOU forever!

really nice poem, it is sad not allowing yourself sometimes to be able to express your true emotions because of some difficult issues you were dealing with. best of luck, keep on posting.
