Even the Prisons Don't Want Me

Topic: SongLyrics

Well, he was standing at the front gate,
of the penitentiary.
They opened the door and shoved me out,
and said "boy stay off that weed."
Well, I looked at my friend, And he shook his head,
And I saw a twinkle in his eye.
Well I cracked a smile, 'cause ain't smoked in a while.
And now it's time to get high.

Well, let me get one more last puff,
before I pass this sweet.
I know it may sound crazy,
But one more hit is all I need.
I'm just a good 'ol guy, trying to get high,
First time since I've been free.
So let me get one more last puff,
before I pass this sweet.

Now everyone was gathered around me,
as I woke up on the floor.
They said I took a hit, of some bad a-- sh--.
the biggest cloud they've ever seen before.
Well it's good to be home, with my friends gettin' stoned,
I hope I never have to ever go back.
I was a six year slave, I got a penny a day,
I got five on the chronic sack.

Well, let me get one more last puff,
before I pass this sweet.
I know I may look crazy,
But it's been years since I smoked weed.
I'm a real good guy, feelin' kinda high.
I wanna smoke till I can't see.
So let me get one more last puff,
before I pass this sweet.

Well, I guess I lost my mind,
'cause I heard a million times.
That if I smoke, then I'm in violation.
And they could send me back to jail,
but I just don't give a hell,
Because they started another rotation.

Well, let me get one more last puff,
before I pass this sweet.
I'm feeling kinda crazy,
and way to numb to feel my feet.
I'm a hell of a guy, and I'm really f--king high.
And I can not move out of my seat.
But let me get one more last puff,
before I pass this sweet.
