Walk Away

Contributed by LJ on Thursday, 29th August 2002 @ 08:52:36 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

The loudest thing I ever heard
Was when you never said a word
You turned your back and walked away
Assuming that I’d be okay
Fallen down and all alone
You were the one to throw the stone
I have feelings and I hurt
Please don’t treat me just like dirt
I trusted you with all of me
It’s from you that now I flee
Captured in an icy stare
Hurt like this is very rare
I’ll pick up the pieces of my core
Rebuild them in a quiet roar
My life has never given me slack
So walk away and don’t look back

Awww LJ this is so sad. I'm hoping this is fiction, but if not then well I hope things look up for you.

Dear LJ, This version is very good. I'd have to see them side by side to choose the best.
Love, Friend Bizzy
