i hide behind a mask of happiness,
i dont want people to see my insanity,
i get lost beind a mask of fakeness,
who am i anymore
u want to see how i am but i am afraid to show u
my mask is beautiful and i am not
u see i know me, u do not
u know little about me, just words and things i say,
u know what i have done, who my friends are, what i want u to know,
but u dont now my personality
u dont know the real me
i keep my mask on so i can hide, so u will still want me, still need me, still love me
i know u dont really love me, not me, the real me,
i need u, i wish i could tell u that, i care for u, more then i should,
so i cant let u know me, the real me, i must keep my mask on, always on, i must smile and cuddle and hold u real close
cause when u find out who i am, u wont love me anymore

| TAKE THE MASK OFF, AND TRY ME!!! (ops! I don't mean to say that...... loud!^_^) A really sad yet sweet poem, but how do you know, it isn't your mask that covered your beauty? How do you know? After you show the true you him wouldn't love you more? Trust me, no fancy masks can campare to the beautiful smile of yours! |
