Aku sekarang berkabung keranamu,
Anak watanmu hidup merempat, tersisih.
Pahlawanmu kecundang,
Gugur di tangan pahlawan
Kepada penyokong selagi buku ditarah,
Gajah sama gajah berjuang,
Siapakah yang kerugian pula?
Pelanduk di tengah-tengah medan.
O adik-beradikku,
Begitu pedihnya hidup ini,
Hidupmu seumpama hidup barzakh,
Kenapa awak semua harus kesengsaraan?
Tengoklah utara dan selatanmu!
Saksikanlah! Kezaliman ini
Yang memenuhi ruangmu
Dari atas ke bawah angin!
Betapa sakit hatinya
Yang menyaksikannya. Semuanya
Dah jadi padang jarak padang terkukur
Dan yang tertinggal? Pasir
Yang kering-kontang untukmu.

Im sure this is a great poem and your kind to be thinking of the military and their families but I cant make out what it says, maybe a translation?? Pm me if you would like.

| It is very patriotic, although I was never into Malay poems. Maybe you should put titles for your poems. |
