From one broken heart to another

Contributed by MissLee on Thursday, 18th December 2003 @ 11:03:09 AM in AEST
Topic: ApologyPoetry

Last November
It is now a year plus December
Since I fell for him
My heart and soul he did win
But I knew the whole time he did not care
Now I cannot find my heart anywhere
He tortures me
Unknowingly
Pain swirls round in my head
I wish I was dead
So that the thought of him would never
cross my mind
I want to leave it all behind
But my heart foolishly hangs on
I know it is wrong
I am sorry for the pain I have caused you
I am in pain too
All I know is that you did not deserve what I gave to you
What can I do
To make you see
You make me happy
And I would like to have a fresh start
So that I can completely give you my heart
