I left my house for an easy place,
I left this plane for an open space.
I walked these floors to find some peace,
I walked these miles to be at ease.
I talked with you to garner some praise,
I talked with God about this phase.
I wandered this earth for bitter hours,
I wandered this earth till I felt the power.
I built this wall for quick protection,
I built this wall against affection.
I am standing here for all to see.
I am standing here cause I am free.
