How do i feel when i stand on the top of a mountain? Lonely
How do i feel when i am surrounded by people,
but yet my mind is somewhere else? Lonely
How do i feel when i watch,
one after another waves lash against the seashore? Lonely
How do i feel when sometimes words desert me and
i face a writer’s block? Lonely
Why do i feel lonely?
It seems as if this world is a grave yard and
i am the only one around,
staring here and there and feeling lonely.
Am i destined to walk this path of life alone?
Will someone ever call me their own?
Who cares for a drop of water in the ocean?
Who cares for things unseen but heartfelt?
The world is moving fast,
but at times i can’t be so fast.
Will i last?
or will people look at me as a thing of the past.
The path is long and lonely,
who will walk along with me?
I don’t know, but one thing is sure i do feel lonely.

your words were so truthful and there isnt a worse feeling than feeling lonely you captured these feelings with vivid detail. You have a friend in me so dont worry you wont be lonely.

| Oh yes, being lonely is something we all have to face. You have the people that accept it and move on and become UNIQUE. Then you have those who live in it! Beware of that it can be very LONELY!!! MissTea sends her love to you!! |

Feeling & being lonely is not a pleasant feeling. I LOVED this poem and like everyone else I have endured the lonely times...
