Infatuation

It has to be this, infatuation
Can’t be nothing else
You bring me nothing but pain
And nothing more
I suffer when I talk to you
And same when I don’t
Its such a confusing feeling
Can’t stand it anymore
I know I’m foolish
To feel this way towards you
But its like a drug
Can’t see through it
I have no control,
I have no say,
My heart took over
And I can’t let go
It’s such a bad feeling
Making my heart believe all these lies
As much as I try to get away
The closer you seem to be
And even though I promised myself
Not to feel this way again
I swore my heart would never mend
Said love wasn't worth the pain
But then I hear it call my name again
Every time I feel confident
That the pain is all over
I see you and it’s starts all over again
You don’t even realize
The effect you had in my life
Never thought such an impact
This could turn out to be
No, I didn’t learn from my mistakes
Fell into this trap again
This game called love
The trouble with love is
It doesn't care how fast you fall
And you can't refuse the call
See, you got no say at all
Your words sound so promising
So sincere and true
You say so loud
But it sounds so far away
I just pray your face just fades away
Cause I’m tired of your face
haunting me at night
It’s a waste of time
The story’s gonna end the same way
Me alone and soon its gonna happen again
Its like a cycle, never ending
Same thing’s gonna happen
I know what to expect
But why do I still fall?
It seems that no matter what I do
My heart breaks in two
Even if I play the game by the rules
Nothing seems to go right
Don’t know what to do
Either way im going to be blue
No one will understand
Not even I do.

Good poem, I also feel this way, I think everyone does at one point, so more people may understand than you think.
