Grandpa please don’t leave me
I’m not ready to say goodbye
Maybe it is selfish
But to let go I have tried
So grandpa please don’t leave me
Alone here to cry
Grandpa believe me
I’m not ready for goodbye
Grandpa why’d you leave me
I wasn’t ready for goodbye
I know that it’s selfish
But know that I have tried
So grandpa why’d you leave me
In my pain to cry
Grandpa believe me
I wasn’t ready for goodbye
Grandpa can you hear me?
I need to say goodbye
I know I was selfish
But i’ve seen it through your eyes
So grandpa can you hear me?
Alone I sit and cry
Grandpa believe me
It’s hard........I say goodbye
