Grief

You could have said you were leaving,
I wouldn't have broken down and cried,
You could have told me you still loved me,
I wouldn't have worried, perhaps, you'd died.
You fool!! You just ran and left me
Holding the fort, the palace in Rome,
And me, I still wait, ever eager,
For the day when you'll be finally home.
But how I just keep on thinking,
In a land made of this pathetic dream,
In the world of the hopeful: "Hopelessness",
I could be queen...
I could be queen.
