Wish to be a winner?

Topic: InspirationalPoems

With parents I spoke affectionately
With friends the speech was friendly
With students the speech was advisory
With oneself the speech shouldn’t vary

Others words should lose their power
The power of your words should conquer
Like this, if your words could empower
You are the winner forever

Wounds can heal, if caused by fire
To be hurt with words, one will fear
Talks of noble persons are nice to hear
But, if you be a liar people would swear

Syllables of wise men govern the world
When spoken with grace, can be seasoned
Good words even make you get cold
An expression of Excellency of mind

Speech be clear, if you speak at all
Shape every word, before you make it fall
Talk of a great man, greater than all
For no elegant speech, don’t speak at all

the line "the power of your words should conquer" reminds me of how my boyfriend's granny talks to him... She is a very domineering woman.
nice write.

Words can be very powerful in so many ways. I thank you for sharing this because now I am going to think on words.....

Really liked this one!
