Oh how I long to kiss your lips
And long to hold you tight.
I long to be your walking stick
Or to aid in your fight.

Oh how I wish to rub your back
And wish to see you sleep.
I wish to be your handkerchief
And all the tears you weep.

Oh how I want to be with you
And want to make you laugh.
I want to be your ev’rything
I want to be your staff.
