I swore I never would again because it hurt so much
But my dear, my heart you did touch
It was shattered on the floor
To be used nevermore
But your heart healed mine
I now have a feeling so divine
For I have loved and I do once more
But I have never had anyone love me back before
This is far beyond what I felt for him
For not only my heart did you win
But all of me that I have to give
For you gave me a reason to live
I wish I had never loved him for it was a waste of my time
He never was supposed to be mine
And he hurt me so much that it will always be there
But I know you care
I give you all of my heart
I have a new start
I wish I could be there
To show you how much I care
But whatever you do
Know that I am always thinking of you
And even though I am far away
I promise you we will be together someday

Awesome poem on having love.. You can feel the love in this.. great write .. I enjoyed reading it.. its a good hopeful poem of love.. glad you finally found love
