If It Was Up To Me
If it was up to me,
What a change there would be.
People would learn to care,
And flowers would bloom all year.
On faces you’d see a smile,
People would live for now.
If it was up to me.
If it was up to me,
What a change would you see.
There would be no fear,
And no child would shed a tear.
Violence would not exist,
Hatred would be a myth.
If it was up to me.
If it was up to me,
Change would be the key.
War would be no more,
Love would be in store.
The world would live for God,
And people’s hearts wouldn’t be so hard.
If it was up to me.
If it was up to me,
A better world would there be.
Faith would be so strong,
People would do no wrong.
Families would know of love,
We’d thank the Lord above.
If it was up to me.
