Struck is passing on my desires
Stuck on passing you
Driving down through Simpleton
Nothing left to do
Just as I hit my single note
Even if I wanted all my obsessions
Driving down through Simpleton
Facing all my confessions
Yearning for a single day
Losing all I wished for
Driving down through Simpleton
And my thoughts you choose to ignore
Laugh in the face of sadness
Kick my feelings the the curb
Driving down through Simpleton
As if you ever had the nerve
Roll my windows to surrender
Toast my will to passing
Driving down through Simpleton
Here's to your ways, harassing
Moving on through corrupted views
Facing the fears I never chose
Driving down through Simpleton
Eyes glued to the billboards, it shows
Driving myself through Simpleton
Windows shut and tight
I'm driving our thoughts through weightlessness
Searching out this simple night

I wish I understood it. Could you take the time to tell me what you're trying to say? What you're feeling...I meab other than the fact that I'm a simpleton? Just look at it this way: At least I read it, and commented.... |

this is truely unique in its presentation.
i understand what you were trying to convey here...but it was hard to follow....try not to rely on describing things in shortened thoughts and flow thru in painting a picture. you have a fire within your writing that i see as true potential...if you could keep your reader within the script.
good poem. blessed be. |
