I asked the Lord to heal and keep me.
And I asked Him then for happiness too!
I did not know if He would give it.
But He answered my prayer when He sent you!

If you want to see a happy man,
Just look into my eyes.
You may not even understand.
But to me it isn’t even a surprise.

I know an answered blessing when I see one.
I know the difference between the moon and sun.
But the day that you were sent to find me,
My angel then my searching was all done.

The happiness, joy and love that fills my soul.
It filled what had been once a gaping hole.
Because your love is patient and so kind,
I’ll love you more than life for all of time.
