walking was almost too much effort
in the steamy jungle afternoon
the storm swept across the treetops
taking the sky with it
leaving the air heavy with rain
sweat and a lingering apathy

short and to the point. Wonderful. Reminds me of my visit to Disneyworld in Florida,LOL. oh...and my visit to Rome. The humidity there must be 100%...and not a breeze. I had friends who had made me an itenerary...so I could visit all the sights? I was so hot and weary...apathy had set in and I wanted to burn my bra, my underwear and the itenerary!!!!! Nothing like humidity to take it out of you. A+!!! |
