Here I am, far away from home
From the north of Asia to the east of Rome
I left my wife, my twin daughters and son
To fight in the war to see the rising sun.
Starvation, hunger, is all I can see
At this time, I have only me
No family, no Sunday dinner, or a bed-time story too
Just myself, with a job to do.
A gun in my hand, bullets in another
I fought like hell but no one bother
How I miss my family
Now I know the true meaning of being lonely.
Just then, it hit me
A bullet so hot, it burnt the spirit in me
I fell to the ground, hurt yet strong
For I have a battle to finish, it won't take long.
Blood streamed out of my wounds all over my body
It hurts so much, but I was happy
Finally, the battle was won
But inside me, my whole thoughts were torn.
I was brought into a tent
For my wounds to be tend
And there I saw my family.
My wife cried, "Oh my god!"
My daughters and son prayed hard to Lord
"No! Don't leave me! I love you!"
I am sorry, honey, but I love you too...
