THE LOST CHRISTMAS

Contributed by jaeann on Saturday, 13th December 2003 @ 09:03:45 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

The christmas tree did not go up this year you know.....the babydoll did not leave her store shelf.

The paper and ribbons did not wrap pretty little dresses.....Frosty, Rudolph and Santa Claus were left to be.

No cookies were cut out and placed in a warm oven.......... no angel was put up because the angel was sent to heaven.

The only things to happen this year were pretty red flowers at graveside and a butterfly blowing in the wind.

For you see ...... they were placed on the ground next to the angel that went away.

My precious angel....celebrating the true meaning of this time......in the arms of the guest of honor.

Oh Dear Jaymee....what a tragedy...your soul and heart were buried with her....I'm so sorry she had to depart. This poem is very touching, and heart wrenching....I pray you can find some sort of peaceful time...but you never get over it Jaymee...and don't let them tell you that you do. Time helps to heal the pain...but memories are always there and will always be renewed!
I wish I could be closer and hug you as you cried...it's always easier to cry from the inside out, when you know the person that is holding you understands your pain.
love you,
ConSue

I am so sorry you lost your little one jaeann.
I had tears in my eyes from reading it.
A mother's soul seems lost without her child.
*hugs*
