My Two Cents

I hate it when I hear someone say,
"I'm gonna love you forever"
'Cause in reality forever is actually a never,
'cause nothin, not even love, can be forever
Now I bet that you think, that I think, I'm clever,
And you're thinking I gone crazy,
'Cause myself and me,
sitting here trying to make you see,
that love ain't the thing to set you free
But naw, that ain't it,
I ain't trying to prove *****,
and hell, I know I'm throwing a fit,
but I got my reasons, love always hints itself to me, ya know?
And even though I know I shouldn't go with the flow,
I just go with it, go with my common sense,
but damn man, I ain't got no more sense,
alls I gots left is my vengeance
I just need to realise,
that love don't compromise,
it never takes anyone alive,
it leaves us broken ready to die,
lays us down and leaves us to fry
And whenever I feel love, my intentions are always good,
I just wish that somebody could
see that, but no, they don't
I guess I am just too deep,
as deep as a creek, but I ain't no geek

All loves done is cut up my soul,
and with these set of cards I've been given I'm ready to fold
And how is love the greatest thing ever?
I've seen what it's done to people,
changed them in ways nothing else could have ever
and it's said that "seeing is believing,"
well I gotta news flash that could kill,
the things that we see are not always real
Maybe we do not even exist,
maybe there is no such thing as a kiss
forgive me if what I say is a sin,
but I am just putting my two cents in

This is like a poetic splotch on the backside of a point. The cynical viewpoint was thoroughly covered in the preview. I give the whole thing a 3.4 on the Nortiscale.

Love is forever you got to believe ask the man and woman who should of loved another time another place can her death erase the love they felt ? I admire your two cents but it is best to love and lost then never felt love at all So when love leaves you sad be glad that you have loved then never to have the amazement of love at all and be disent to find forever Don't say never because even to someone like you Love can come love can be true :)
