Thank You
It’s not easy,
Letting your guard down.
But for you, I’ll try
Trust doesn’t come easy,
But you’ve earned it.
You’ve taught me there’s more to life,
Than being afraid and disappointed.
You’ve given me back something,
I’ve been missing for so long…
Love.
I pray I’ve earned this gift,
You so freely gave.
I see doors opening all around,
For once I smell the flowers.
Out of darkness,
Comes new light.

Jeff trust is a big thing for me. I let my guard down and started to befriend a man I was looking for a friend online and so happen my friend became a man we talked for two years shared laughter and tears. Two days ago he walked out of my life. He says it is because I told him to go. However friends right for friendship. Becareful though we let our guard down sometimes friends come for a reason not a season . Lovely poem.
