Between the rain and the cars on the corner of Bridgemont and Pine,
There will be signs to show you the way to the river
This is our meeting point; our spot to waste away the afternoons.
Fishing? No. Swimming? Not a chance.
We spend our day raking leaves for Mrs. Hampton.
You see, it's one thing to make yourself happy,
But to see the grin on an elderly woman's face is ten times greater.
The youth of today in the mainstream is on a downfall, but those of us
Who actually care get no respect. We aren't appreciated, but we do it
For the reactions of the beneficiary. Put the money away, Mrs. Hampton.
Your smile has paid for our services.

This came across as so sweet, wonderful, thoughtful. Doing something for someone else is so inspiring to me.
