Icicles fell from your words
As the burned into my soul
The silent look in your eyes
Screaming what couldn’t be told
I remembered then what I forget
And turned to walk away
Crying dry tears, couldn’t be seen
Caused false dreams of today
Friendship in my arms
But hatred in your eyes
Knowing I have to run away
Truth unknown in lies
Lost faith still believed
Running as I walked away
If only you could have seen
The pain from yesterday
Weakness finds hope in strength
That to thine friends be true
blood that turns to water
In veins never did run through
So to this I say goodbye
It’s the hardest easy thing to do
But goodbye friend, and dreams and memories
The final good bye to you
