The room is filled with thick warm night
And you wave mosquitoes away from the bed,
Once more having forgotten the rip in the screen.
I lean against you and breathe in your smell;
Cigarettes, dusty records, and soap.
My idolatry is tangible.
Your arms around me create a womb
In which I rest, and am warm;
Where I am sung to sleep by your heartbeat
And your blood, flowing through our veins.
Here you protect me, nourish me,
And in return I complete you.
In return I worship your words,
Your face,
Your being.
Without you I don’t exist.

Heartfelt words. I especially liked the last line. I've felt that way before... still do.

this is so sweet...he's a very lucky guy to have u and i'm so glad that u've found someone that special. who cares if it's another guy? as long as ur happy that's the most important thing u can ask for.
