Life's looking down her nose
But I'm holding out hope
I hate all this hurt
But I just can't let go
Please go away
My rope's starting to fray
I'm hanging on the end
But there must be a way
So up I climb
I just can't find
The end seems so much farther
And I hear your voice from behind
I look down these walls
Of this chasm so tall
I let go of my rope
And begin to fall
Wind rushing by
Looking up to the sky
I'm trusting you'll catch me
As I kiss my fears goodbye.

beautiful! It reminded me of that trust game that you play when your young the one where you close your eyes and fall straight back and trust your bestfriend to catch you. It seems eventhough were older, in a sense we're still playing the same game. I hope you win!!!! |
