When you see tomorrows light
you will have weathered
yesterdays storms.
Sleep well tonight my child
I will hold you 'til you wake.
I will watch you
and keep bad dreams at bay.
As you open your eyes though
dear I must go for as I am
only a dream.
You must have known
that I couldn't have stayed
no matter what I'd wanted.
So now I must walk away
but know I'll miss you.
So until next time you sleep
I will be in the shadows
waiting for you.

this is awesome.. i like how you worded this.. it sounds like a person has a guardian watching over them as they sleep and loves them and protects them.. i like that alot.. great job once again!!
