Stupid, Simple Actions

In these dreams, as I wait to find myself
Crystal thoughts secure, and it's someone else
Strong enough to conquer
Facing a twisted world
Running through a thorn bush
Forgetting a ruthless girl
As long as I can tell you
This is probably goodbye
You won't remember me tomorrow
No matter how I wish you'd try
Losing sense of sadness
Like I ever was
I'm moving on through life now
Like a normal person does
Crashing through the doorway
I submit to my own will
I create my own destiny
And yet I'm incomplete even still
I forget I ever trusted things
And l choose my own path
I am frozen by my own thoughts
And taken by love's aftermath
Stupid, simple actions
Bring me further down
You get to be so high from me
And I'm still waiting on the ground
The bus for pleasures awakens me
Hope crushes dismay
I think I'll smile and forget you now
Make a change and find today

Nice. I liked this. It shows strength. I fully understood it. |
