Coloured blue,
in a world of grey,
Erase me from your mind,
let me slip away,
for in a world of grey,
if your not the same,
theyll hide away your true colours,
with a paintbrush of shame,
and if you cant be all,
that they want you to be,
as great as a hero,
looking like the stars on tv,
then your nothing to the world,
a blip on the radar,
im nothing to the world,
and being nothing is hard,
it feels as if im a failure,
no matter what i say,
if they cant accept me as i am,
God, Please Colour Me Grey.

We none of us have more than a few family and close friends. Even with that small number one can occaisionally feel "detached" from time to time.
This is the "blessing?" of highly developed brains. One minute you can be one of the pack (or shoal) the next a complete individual as the need for cooperation disappears.
So acceptance comes and goes. The more you can contribute or the more you need, the more it comes.............. or vice versa.
There are many shades of grey.
