Roses In Satin Vases

As roses in satin Vases we stand,
Together perfection is met,
Although mistakes are made,
As petals fade,
This love I will never forget.
This much I can say I know,
And as the years drift slowly past,
It is true that in many ways, we grow,
Not apart but instead,
Our stems entwine,
With a love sometimes too strong to show.
