love is an abandoned dream

like a razor it cuts the sky to open the bloodgates upon the wretched earth that corrupted what love is supposed to be. i am dead to this bittersweet curse called love that was layed upon my black filled heart. to know this is just as much a pleasure as it is a pain, for u want it, but u know the consequences. the pleasure is that u know to stay away from it for it will only make u suffer like a cattle with it's throat cut only waiting for someone to take it away from everything. the pain is that you want someone so unatainable and u know in ur mind that they will never be urs just because ur not good enough. i have cut and cried to make it go away but it simply stays and never leaves. from this little hurt i have tried to end it all but even then it never lets me be. it's like a bad dream that will haunt me for the rest of my life, because no matter how much u try to forget, it always comes back and shoves it's way back into ur soul like an abandoned dream.
