One Cry

Contributed by KellyA on Tuesday, 9th December 2003 @ 09:45:22 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

The universe is part of this one cry.
In this complicated world where we are all born to die.
Heaven mourns this day; for if no angel cried
If this man was just tossed away as nothing,
The very stars would have lied.
Rock, water, wind, share this grief.
As trees sway, they feel it in every leaf.
We're in this web of eternity together,
Struggling each day for something better.
And as nothing comes of this mans death,
We look to the heavens for each slow breath.
For the dazzling darkness that surrounds us is deep.
And when the angels wait for him, they try hard not to weep.

What better monument can there be, but the loving words from one like thee.

Yes the whole universe has taken note of such a passing of a person with such grace, gone from us to a better place.

Waiting for us, to share one day, in heavens own special way, never to be parted again, but to share the smiles of forever.

Your words are as your heart, and I thank you for them. Keep on sharing, it's what sets you apart. Thank you.

Oh Kelly, it's a beautiful and sad verse. I hope writing it and finally posting it to share your pain with others has helped you to heal, if only minutely. You've done a wonderful job here! Thanks for sharing!
