“You are sick,” she said,
“and a bastard,” she said,
“and you don’t care.”
she drove the stake home.
But I’m better now.
Never again will another
be made to suffer at my hands,
and she doesn’t know my shame.
I only wish I had loved my victim
like this before I ended her life.
