Dust endless dust
boiling bubbling,destroying all
farmland dying,farmers crying,wives
and children hollowed eyed,helpless victims
dust bowl
Corns dying,locust enjoying,trajedy for
all to see
waters gone,no rain in sight.
sleep;ess nights,choldren crying
hunger for all ,livestock and human
pain ,harsh heart breaking pain
helpless victims,dustbowl
Furniture loaded,vehichles over whelmed
familes stacked here and there,some
walking,animals trudging,dogs a yelping
westward bound,a new world for them
new hopes,new dreams
Westward bound american struggle
trajedy forgotten hope and dreams renewed
