Burning Ice

Contributed by Cobalt on Tuesday, 9th December 2003 @ 12:43:56 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Your blood boils
as lust overcomes.
Lips locked together
twisting you within.
Stars explode
behind your eyelids.
Time stops in an instant,
and tantalizingly moves
slowly thereafter.
Soundlessly you scream
as your nails draw blood
from anothers flesh.
Climbing to a mountain top
to slide down the other side.
Onyx slabs fall and,
mountains crumble,
as rivers run dry
but for us only
and instant passes.
On clouds we soar
high above
making angels jealous
by our beauty.
Rose petals
brush your cheeks
and joy overcomes
your face.

The book of the damned spirit

ENCORE, ENCORE, Cobalt....you've out done yourself this time.
Romantic and very emotional, heartfelt poem, wringing all the feeling from one's heart and soul........soaring to find no home.
I loved this Cobalt, and you said this one was old...very well written indeed.,
