The Robbing Path of Love

I have seen this path before. I have
embedded my footsteps in this robbing dirt.
At the end of this road we find a meadow.
It is full of all the happy things love
brings. For also on this path lies a hole.
A hole that decives you.
At first sight it looks like the best place
to be. You want to follow it, for you know
in your heart there is nothing else that
can make you happier.
But in this hole, is all the despair and
hate and anger that we lovers feel.
It is a hole that most people fall into with
out even realizing it.
Many have tried to mark this hole for others
so they may pass by it and on to the meadow.
It seems the hole will always be there,
always looking for the one who sets off down
the path looking for true happiness in love.
We have choices in love even if it feels
like we don't.

That hole comparison reminds me of the saying "falling in love", only you meant it literally.... I like that. Great work =)
God bless,
