Like a female 58 yr olds ovaries,
I’m dried up.
Nothings flowing, no productivity
Drought plagues the once thriving fertile planes
Of my mind.
Where water once ran there is earth cracking
Under the intense pressure of the mid-day heat.
Bland colour, a vast expanse of sky and desert
For miles.
Makes me want to collapse, stop, give up
Accept defeat.
But I never will.
I never could…I know it would
Be worse than dying,
To give up writing.
